How to Turn Your Marketing Into a Money-Making Machine - Examples of solid Marketing

Friday, February 29th, 2008

By Josh Barinstein As Claude Hopkins presented in his Scientific Advertising many decades ago, there are scientific ways of tracking your Marketing and Advertising and determining clearly and unequivocally what works and what does not. Without knowing the facts about what is effectively increasing your leads, and subsequently your sales success, you might as well be throwing money out the windowliterally. All you have to do is reflect on your own Marketing to realize the truth in the old statement: 90% of Advertising does not work, problem being, which 90%? If you could identify and harness the 10% that does work, you would truly have power in your hands. Well, the fact is that you can. Below are examples of Marketing that you can track. But dont stop after implementing! If results are not analyzed on an ongoing basis, and consequently, what works is not repeated, you will be back in that 90% void. A powerful ad A good ad must follow these guidelines in order to reach its maximum potential and yield beyond your expectations: 1. Dont make it look like an ad! The more it resembles the publication itself, the better results you will see. That is why an advertorialan ad that looks like news or an editorialis such a powerful device. 2. Make use of a strong headline. This requires a great deal of time and effort. As Hopkins himself stated, he would spend the most time on the headline, discarding many along the way. Only after having a bulletproof headline, would he continue with the rest. 4. Tell a story. Give readers a story that reels them in, with which they can really connect. 5. Make it newsworthy. You wouldnt read the paper or your favorite magazine if the content were not newsworthy, right? Same goes for an ad. Make it substantial and important. 6. Include an offer. This is your chance to make them do something! Offer something they cannot resist and which will make them take action now. If you dont offer anything, you greatly minimize the chances of making the sale. Think of this: what are the odds that they will be ready to purchase from you that instant that they came across your ad? Answer: extremely low! 7. Make it easy for people to contact you. 24/7 is ideal, but otherwise, make your phone or email or other type of access extremely straightforward and be responsive. Never intimidate your audience in any way when interfacing with them, so that they always feel comfortable and taken care of. 8. Have a tracking mechanism in place. And this is the final key element. You must track your success! That is how you can be scientific in your approach, and what will ultimately reveal if your tactic is indeed successful or not. You can track via a telephone extension, by denoting a Department in your address, or via a URL. Tracking activity on a URL (Web address) is extremely easy these days, and extremely powerful. Lead generation and follow-up on the Web Lead generation is how you collect prospectives as time goes on, making up the audience you will stay in front over timein other words, you future customers. The Web, if used properly, can generate tremendously for you. And through automation, follow-up on those leads becomes both easy and a surefire way to win buyers over. The important thing is to lure them on every page of your site via an offer that prompts them to submit their email address. Dont let them go without doing so! Just like an ad, visitors are usually passing by, and will not likely return. Give them an article or other useful piece of information that will then give you permission to stay in touch. Once visitors have opted in, you store their email addresses for future (and frequent) communications. Staying in communication can look like this: * A monthly newsletter that you send out. This does not have to be hard work! You can have a short feature that you or someone on your team writes monthly. You can then supplement with a wealth of free content that is available on the Internet. * An article of interest. This brings a topic of interest to you audience and educates them. You are not selling what you do, but talking about it, or your industry, or some area that is intriguing to your readers. You position yourself as their perfect choice, but without the in-your-face selling tactic! * A recommendation. Very powerful, as you are sharing information freely, creating trust and strengthening your bond. Recommendations can include a good book (on investment, good business practice, well-being), a piece of software, or performance improvement tool. * A link to an informative area of your site. You can also point them to a new area of your siteinformative, of course, never bragging about what you do or who you are (think about what a turn-off that is to you as a consumer). By bringing them to a page or area that is of use to your visitor, you are sharing and educating. Should they choose to navigate and learn more about you and your product or serviceswell, that is always their choice. In this manner, you remain in front of your prospectives, and you do so with useful materials. They will appreciate it, and in constantly giving them information that benefits them, you stand out as the expert and trusted source. Meaning the odds are in your favor of getting the sale in the long run. Build your money-making machine with powerful tactics such as these, and watch your company grow in leaps and bounds. Best of luck! Weight Loss Surgery Basics

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

By Wayne Mcgregor The physical and mental discomfort associated with being morbidly obese can be overwhelming. There are so many health risks related to obesity, including diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, sleep apnea, and acid reflux. These conditions can greatly shorten a persons life span and quality of life. And often, an obese person has tried every diet and exercise regime out there in order to lose weight, to no avail. For those that are more than 100 pounds over their ideal weight, it might seem like weight loss surgery is the only solution. Weight loss surgery is often meant for those individuals who are 100 pounds or more over their ideal weight, or that have a body mass index (BMI) over 40. Potential patients often have to show proof (both to the doctor and the insurance company) that they have attempted to lose weight through various means of diet and exercise unsuccessfully. Weight loss surgery is not intended to be used as form of cosmetic surgery. It is major surgery, with several potential complications, and the decision to do it should not be entered into lightly. Before making the decision to have any type of weight loss surgery, know all of the facts and options. Ask the bariatric surgeon and any other doctors many questions, and make sure that the answers are completely understood. Know all of the potential risks, and understand the commitment that will be required after the surgery. Weight loss surgery is not a fix-all, and a great deal of effort must be made to maintain weight loss, change bad eating behaviors, and make sure that dietary and nutritional needs are being met. There are several immediate and long-term risks associated with any type of weight loss surgery. These include: BleedingReaction to anesthesia or subsequent medicationsDehiscence (the rupture of a surgical wound)Deep vein thrombosis (blood clots)InfectionsUlcersStenosis (abnormal narrowing of blood vessels)Pulmonary problemsInjury to or removal of the spleen (due to bleeding) While the occurrence of many of these problems are rare, it is important to know that they are possible with anyone having surgery, and to know what effects they can have. There are 2 types of weight loss surgeries, restrictive and malabsorptive. Restrictive procedures force the patient to decrease food consumption. These procedures do not disrupt the regular digestive process.Malabsorptive procedures cause food to be inadequately digested so that it is eliminated in the stool. These procedures do interrupt the regular digestive process, and can lead to conditions such as anemia and malnutrition if great care is not taken to ensure nutritional maintenance post-surgery. While weight loss surgery can help those who are morbidly obese and have struggled to lose weight for a long time lost the excess weight, it should not be seen as a magic pill. The surgeries will help patients lose a lot of weight, but it is still up to the patient to change eating behavior, exercise regularly, and be committed to a new lifestyle for the rest of his or her life. Wayne Mcgregor has a degree in nutrition and dietetics, a diploma in fitness training, and a wealth of experience in helping people to lose weight and build muscle. His website provides hundreds of free weight loss articles, sample diets, tools and charts of calorie content of different foods. http://www.weightlossforall.com/surgery-life-after-x.htm Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Wayne_Mcgregor http://EzineArticles.com/?Weight-Loss-Surgery-Basics&id=363129 generic for ambien ambien sleep aid ambien insert package ativan recreational use dose

Dating Red Flag #9: Mistreats People in Social Situations

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

By Alan Stafford A common dating problem, and a major warning sign, is when your partner acts one way with you, but behaves very differently around others. Example situation John and Mary have been dating for some time now. They like each other a lot, but there is something wrong. Mary is always nice, gentle and forgiving whenever shes alone with John. In public, however, she argues with everyone else. Shes always dismissive with waiters when she and John are on dates; shes hostile with other drivers when shes behind the wheel; and, shes contemptuous of people she regards as her inferiors. Shes very unpleasant, to say the least, to everyone. Everyone but John. Why is this is a dating problem for John? After all, Mary is a pussycat with him. You might think that John has just managed to tame the beast in her. Maybe they really can live together and have a wonderful long-time relationship. You could think that, but time after time youd be wrong. What does this behavior mean for the relationship? Dating a person like Mary is like living with Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Your partner is polite and considerate towards you, but he’s hostile and aggressive at the football game. Or he waves vulgarities at other drivers. Or, he belittles wait staff for even the slightest goof. It seems as if there are two people in one body. Unfortunately, the good half of the person never overcomes the bad half. The dating problems you are experiencing are only the beginning. What is a little annoyance on a date can be a real problem when you become a long term couple. Wonderful at first, terrible later Your partners underlying personality is probably angry, hostile, and condescending. He’s just on his best behavior to win you over. He’s a phony. If you dont end this relationship, sooner or later your partner won’t need to impress you anymore. As the two of you become more like family, he will treat you just as poorly as he does everyone else. Your dating problems with your partners yelling at the waiter will soon evolve into your partners yelling at you. You don’t have to put up with that. Rudeness to others will become rudeness to you. Its more than a dating problem. You should recognize this as a dating red flag and keep looking. How he treats friends, family, and even strangers, is how he will eventually treat you. Throw this fish back and keep trolling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Alan Stafford, Relationship Results CoachI help Singles and Couples build relationships that workwww.relationshipsuccessexperts.com Click here to ask Alan a question about your biggest relationship issuehttp://relationshipsuccessexperts.com/askalan.htm Get our free newsletter for relationship tips and advicehttp://relationshipsuccessexperts.com/subscribe.html 2005 Alan Stafford/Relationship Success Experts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Alan_Stafford http://EzineArticles.com/?Dating-Red-Flag-9:-Mistreats-People-in-Social-Situations&id=111698 apo-lorazepam 1mg drug all over the counter ambien overnight fedex ambien prescription lorazepam

Preventive Marketing Offers Small-Mid Sized Business Owners An Ideal Way To Maximize Their Results

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

By Cijaye DePradine As the owner of a creative services boutique - I have realized that at least 9 out of 10 prospects/clients have suffered from one or all of the following (very detrimental) symptoms of trying to grow their businesses: Trouble defining their “BIG PICTURE” Little to no understanding of “evolution focus” Overwhelming feelings of “being stuck”, “spinning wheels”, “not knowing what to do next” Not enough information about options, alternatives and solutions to common strategies Not enough knowledge or support to ask the right questions when researching opportunities Challenges in differentiating between “good advice” and “bad advice” Difficulty bouncing back from ill advised decisions Exhausting unnecessary dollar amounts for otherwise less expensive projects Not enough resources to avoid future mistakes Unrealistic expectations about each unique component of the marketing mix and how enlisting one does NOT guarantee another. Somehow along the way the corporate mentality of “delegate everything” has convoluted the fact that small-mid sized businesses don’t always have the resources to do this. Owners who elect to “do everything”, do so under the pretense that it will only be temporary and that as soon as money comes in they will contract the right people. The underlying trouble here is that those who choose to do it all - find themselves spending more time and money researching information that is readily available in the right places; the revenues they need to hire someone - get harder and harder to generate and somehow mover further and further away from them. Prevention marketing can provide a quick resolve. Albeit a “new concept” by definition - Prevention Marketing allows business owners to consult with Marketing Experts who have “been there & done that” time and time again. These Marketers have made the mistakes that they advise others not to or they have helped countless clients bounce back from their mistakes (and learn just the same). They are also very connected to those who work in the trenches (if they don’t do it themselves) and they do regular research on new and innovative solutions to age old and up-coming marketing strategies. Prevention Marketing can set business owners up with all of the right information BEFORE decision and implementation begins; in turn avoiding, reducing or in many cases eliminating the effects of above growth symptoms. Keep your eyes and ears open for a Prevention Marketer in your region; they could save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars on marketing your business! I Am Defiled From Within How About You? Mark 7:20-23

Monday, February 25th, 2008

By Matthew Robert Payne Mark 7:20-23 20 And He said, What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man. Jesus was a very wise man when the leaders of His day were trying to catch Him out on the Sabbath and the rules He brought this passage of scripture out. We are all guilty of these things and some of us are still guilty, they all come from our deceitful heart, our unrepentant heart.. Evil thoughts Thoughts of revenge, thoughts of how we are going to get a person back for what they did to us rather then forgive them. There are many thousands of evil thoughts that can be listed. At one time in my life I was sleeping with a prostitute and engaged to her to be married. She was going to retire from prostitution when we married. The thought crossed my mind that we could start a brothel together and we would be able to manage it quite well. Now to you reader that is a truly evil thought, and yet that thought was possible for me in the state that I was in. All sin starts with a thought, and you can be sure most evil gets done after people have considered the though for a while and put some planning into it. Have you been unforgiving, are you thinking evil thoughts in some way? Today is the time to reach toward God and ask for his forgiveness and depart from it. adulteries It seems that the only thing wrong with the sin of adultery these days is getting caught. It seems a good plot for a movie these days, and we are all upset when the person is caught. Jesus spoke and said when a man looks at a women with a lustful thought he has already committed adultery in his heart. Many men are guilty of this, I for one have been guilty of this one. The only way to break free of this one is to get on your knees and repent of this behaviour and seek the Lord to deliver you of this process. Many men are caught in an addiction to pornography and I for one have had a very big struggle with this one. Its so hard wit the internet and a search engine ready to give you a picture with the click of a mouse. But to break this one a heart has to be truly repentant and God will give you victory. fornications It seems sex before marriage is cool these days. I was a fornicator when I met my wife. I was a Christian and she was not born again at that time but became born again shortly after. I was a sinner and sex was part of any relationship I had. The idea of having sex before marriage has been planted by the popular media, but it didnt always have to be this way. I find it quite humbling to be writing this article as I have failed in all these areas so far. If you are in a relationship where sex is part of it but you are not married, can I advise that you go and see your pastor or your priest for counsel. murders Not every person has murdered and people who have must have a tremendous amount of guilt piled on their shoulders by Satan. But Jesus spoke and told us that when we hate a brother that we are murdering them in our heart. This I have been guilty of. I had a friend that turned on me and became my enemy and I began to hate this person. I know why the Lord asks us to love and pray for our enemies, its so out hearts will soften toward the people that are against us. I would hate to think my relationship with anyone might send them to hell. I just read a book A Divine Revelation of Hell by Mary K Baxter and I can tell you that you dont want anyone you know going to hell, not even your enemies. I will make a better effort with my ex friend now that I have read this book. Do you need to forgive someone? thefts Wed all like to think that we have grown out of theft. It was fun when we were a child but we are over it now. But did you know spending half an hour at work each day sending personal emails is a type of theft. Giving a friend a discount at your shop is theft. There are all types of theft. All of it is wrong. Do you need to confess a theft? covetousness We live in a world of technology and all the latest gadgets. Keeping up with the latest is a form of covetousness. Why do we need the latest of everything. A mobile phone that is two years old is okay. The West, the UK, the USA and Australia are falling over themselves with consumerism. We having a raging thirst for possessions whilst Jesus said a mans life does not consist of the abundance if his possessions. We have to walk way from the lusts of the flesh. James says we cant be a friend of the world. James 4:4 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. We cannot covet. And coveting is simply having what your neighbour has Nearly every single Christian does a lot of this sin. Is it time for you to repent? wickedness There are quite a number of things that are not for a Christian to practice; these include using mediums, clairvoyants and astrologers. We are not to participate in this or witchcraft. All of this is wickedness and out of bounds for a Christian but many Christian read there stars just for fun. God is not impressed. deceit I caught myself tell a lie last week. I hate lying and so does God, but the fact remains we lie. God hates deceit. The idea for the lie comes from the heart which is wicked. Jeremiah spoke of the heart. Jeremiah 17:9 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? Our natural hearts are wicked and from these hearts we like to embellish a story or tell a half truth. We need to stop and tell the truth. Pride I have struggled with this one in my time. I read a good way to beat pride in a book the other day. It said this about humility: In seeking and receiving Gods word to us, therefore, we must at the same time seek and receive the grace of humility. God will gladly give it to us if, trusting and waiting on him to act, we refrain from pretending we are what we know we are not, from presuming a favourable position for ourselves in any respect and from pushing or trying to override the will of others in our context. The author of Hearing God, Dallas Willard says this is a fail-safe recipe for humility. I bookmarked that part of the book. No one has ever given me a method to humility and yet I struggled with pride for so long. Do you have pride issues? I hope that paragraph helps you to. Our hearts are wicked. We need the Word of God to wash us clean each day and we need the fire of the Holy Spirit to burn away the chaff within. I hope that my public confession of many of my sins has helped you see that we are all wicked in some way. But Paul was only a man, and look at the heights that he climbed to! God bless you! Matthew shares his heart in these articles and can be found at http://www.online-prayer.net You can read more of his articles at his link below. If you want a copy of his upcoming book of articles which will have the first sixty of the articles on this web-site called “The Musings of a Mad Prophet” please contact Matthew via email so he can contact you around February 2007 to tell you of the progress of the book. Advertising and Marketing Services

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

By Kent Pinkerton Advertising and marketing services are absolute essentials for any product to compete in the market; they provide a stepping-stone towards catering to a larger audience and also help in creating a brand identity among existing customers. Marketing is the tool through which a company makes an entry into the market, and advertising introduces the product and services to the end user. Other functions of advertising are to provide products and services to potential buyers in an effective and persuasive manner. The goal of advertising is to develop awareness of a product or service and to build a distinctive corporate image for an advertiser. Advertising services can vary, from doing market surveys, designing brochures and pamphlets, logo designing, etc. These organizations cater to all the requirements of the company, from image building to brand building exercises. One of the critical services provided by these organizations is planning the launch of a service or product in the market. The complete onus of initiating effective strategies to lure customers by floating promotional activities in the print, electronic, radio and Web media, lies with the advertising agencies. Some of the marketing services provided by the agencies integrate marketing, branding, and customer retention strategies. Most of the service providers work to distinguish products and services offered by an enterprise. They also aim at strengthening the relationship between the end user and the service provider. The majority of these professional marketing companies offer services such as fermenting marketing strategy, market and product development, customer retention programs, corporate image management, brand strategies, and customized training in sales, marketing, and leadership. They also facilitate solutions to resolve marketing problems by helping companies make smarter strategic marketing decisions that produce superior market results. A Diamond Anniversary Ring - The Perfect Way To Seal Your Love

Sunday, February 17th, 2008

By Peter Leigh Some time ago you both made a promise. A promise to each other. Now its time to recognise that you both meant that promise, and that now you both still mean it. Theres no better way to do that than with a gift of a diamond anniversary ring. Well maybe there is. Two diamond anniversary rings, one for him and one for her. Diamond anniversary rings are also called eternity rings. Thats because thats how long you are both making your pledge to each other. The tradition of celebrating an anniversary of marriage began in medieval times when the only anniversaries celebrated were the 25 and 50 year anniversaries. Then a husband would crown his wife with a wreath of silver for 25 years and of gold for 50 years. Nowadays there is more than just the silver and gold anniversaries. The first is paper, the second wood, third leather and so on. Diamond is number 60. So you should traditionally wait 60 years for diamonds. But why wait? To wait for 60 years of marriage for a magnificent diamond anniversary ring seems a little silly. And it is, of course, possible to buy an anniversary ring that doesnt have any diamonds, but that isnt an anniversary ring to me. There has to be diamonds. The design of a diamond anniversary ring is very different to that of, say, an engagement ring. Whereas an engagement ring is designed to show off only one, or a very small number of diamonds, a diamond anniversary ring usually has a larger number. Sometimes the diamonds go all the way around the ring. The symbolism of an anniversary diamond ring is part of the design. The reason for the diamonds going all the way around the ring is to symbolise a never ending circle of love. No beginning and no end. That doesnt mean that all diamond anniversary rings have diamonds all the way around them. For a start that may be unaffordable for some. Plus there are some stunning designs in diamond anniversary rings which have only a few diamonds, but larger ones. One of the most in demand of these types of anniversary rings is the 3 stone diamond anniversary ring. Featuring one larger and two identical smaller diamonds, the 3 stone diamond anniversary ring is rich in meaning. The three stone diamond anniversary ring symbolises the past, present and future all bound together. And why not add a personal touch to your ring? The diamond anniversary ring that you both select will have a special meaning to you both. Why not engrave that meaning on the ring? Why not record the number of years you have been married on the ring? A special message of love? Anything, as long as its short. And should you both have one, or just her? Well certainly it is less common for the male to have an anniversary ring, but certainly not unheard of. However it would be prudent to consider the design of the rings. It would be better if the two rings were designed to be complementary. But not the same. His ring should be larger, or wider, than hers, to match his finger size. More masculine. Talk to your jeweller about designing a matching pair of diamond anniversary rings if you are both to wear one. But whichever you finally choose, a diamond anniversary ring is the only gift to celebrate your anniversary. Find out more about Diamond Anniversary Rings as well as many other types of Diamond Rings including Cheap Diamond Rings at Peter’s website Delectable Diamond Rings. 2005 Peter Leigh. By Doug Firebaugh “Then God said…let Us make man in Our own Image…” Genesis 1:26 Most people miss this. It’s about God’s image within us. The image of His Success. His Name is Jesus. He is the Author of our Christian success. What is an image? It is a copy, a replica, a mirror of something. And you know what the word “image” means in hebrew? NAME. So God made us in His Image, and we carry His Name in our hearts. And we carry His Success. So then — if that is true, then we should be replicating God’s Success Plan for our life, and for our future. God IS Success! God only knows Success, He has never known failure and we should accept the fact that if we are made in His Image, then we need to IMAGE Success in our lives. But many Christians don’t. Why? They want to IMAGE God on their terms, and accept less than the blessings of life that God has for them and they miss out on so much in life. How do we change? It starts with IMAGING God’s Thinking Style. I call it “DONE” Thinking. If you have a goal, it is DONE, your results just have not caught up with your mind. And DONE Thinking let’s the Holy Spirit know you are filled up with FAITH that your goal will succeed and go beyond! That is God’s Thinking Style –to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine! You know what DONE stands for? “Divine Operation (for) Non-stop Effort” Get your thinking to the DONE level, and you will have the Thinking Style of God. And guess what? He will honor that thinking and bless it like you can’t imagine — because we were made in His IMAGE!!!! And that was DONE a long time ago for your Christian Success! blessings…doug (c) 2006/Christian Success Institute http://www.successchurch.com http://www.passionfire.com Doug Firebaugh is one of the top Christian Success Trainers/Authors/Speakers in the world.
